How many times have we seen an Ambulance trying to make way through the traffic struggling to reach the hospital. We are fine to stop the vehicle for a politician to go by but too difficult to give way to a person struggling for life?!
You can make a BIG difference by a very small gesture...just give way to the Ambulances on the road. Who knows you may save a life!

i totally agree..some people on the road in blore have no common sense.
More often than not... you will be stuck in a jam from which you cannot budge..so you stay right in front of the ambulance and there are a dozen cars right in front of you... We need to follow all traffic rules..not just giving way to ambulances..but to stop at a red signal.. slow at a yellow and go only when green.
Not blocking intersections and Not driving in the opposing traffic lanes are rules which are important too. They allow for free flow of the traffic in all directions .. Saves lives... saves time! ... Next time you drive on the road.. follow all rules.. irrespective of others who may not.
hey...the phenomenon is universal. Common sense is uncommon!May sound cliche but quite true.
Pinx, sounds like you have been the one in front of the ambulance sometime or the other! Forget about all the traffic rules. As if people learn know all that. Most of the people are driving without any professional training/learning.Anyways...you seems to be eligible to write a book on Traffic Rules :-)

and pinx ofcourse we need to follow traffic rules..what traveller meant was that the least one could do was give way to ambulances..priorties my friend..
Pinx is angry i guess. Did not mean to offend you but believe me majority of people driving on roads are doing so without going thru any rule/instructions book. I have seen so many teans(14-15s) driving four-wheekers forget bikes!

if you live in blr my frends.. u will at some point be in front of an ambulance.. and if you travel on the airport road... U will definately find urself in front of one!! one of my frends had once said.. the only way to drive in Blr is to be at peace with yourself..meditate..attain nirvana.. else you will explode!!.. me I try sticking with the rules.. get honked at more... passed by more... screamed at more.. all for rules!! if you see a guy in peak traffic stopping at a red sign.. and if that road happens to be the airport road..hey thats definately me!
